The Resources:  This section is simply a list of products I personally have found useful in my fitness journey.  Some of these links are affiliate links, meaning I will get a referral commission if you purchase the product going through my link.  This does not cost you any extra and it throws a little change my way.  Every product I've listed here I personally use myself and believe in.  This is not meant to be a sales pitch and I don't want you to spend money on products you don't feel you need.  That said, I appreciate any commissions you send my way and I will gladly answer any questions you may have regarding any of the listed products.

the obstacle is the way

While this isn't a consumable or a testing device, this book is certainly a resource!  I use Audible to listen to this book on repeat whenever I am going through a competition prep or any other difficult time for that matter.  The lessons in this book are life-changing and will make you a better person!  That is a bold statement but it is 100% true.  No matter who you are or where you're at in life, you can benefit from reading this book.  If you use THIS LINK, you can get it in audio book form for free along with another free Audible credit for a month trial period.

I do a ton of testing on a day to day basis with my self-experimentation.  Most of the ketone and glucose test strips are way overpriced and not really practical.  I've switched to using the Keto Mojo brand and I totally pleased with it!  Check it out HERE for 5% off.

I need a place to store all the data I'm gathering, for that, I turn to Heads Up Health.  This is a platform that syncs with all of your tracking devices AND syncs with your medical records.  You can also create manual entries.  I use this to track my weight, my ketones, my measurements, my blood work, EVERYTHING!

Zip Fizz are hands down, the best supplement I've found for potassium.  One tube contains 950 mg!  That is about the equivalent of a large avocado.  I'll pop the top on one of these and pour it into my water intra-training.  No headaches, no muscle cramps, better pumps!  Check it out HERE and balance your electrolytes!

fbomb variety pack

This FBomb Fuel is absolutely awesome!  The owners, Ross and Kara, are top flight! Check out their website for a variety of other flavors.  My favorite is the macadamia nut butter. They come in single serve packets that can be taken anywhere and are NOT low in fat ;).  This is one of my favorite keto snacks without a doubt!

BHB salt

I always opt for food over supplementation.  However, when I do want to increase my ketones through exogenous means...I reach for the KetoLogic brand BHB's.  The team behind KetoLogic is incredibly knowledgable and they practice what they preach.  They'll also tell you the importance of food over supplementation rather than just try and push a product, one of the reasons I respect them even more.  Most BHB supplements taste a little off...every single product KetoLogic releases is absolutely delicious!  Check them out HERE!

I'm a HUGE fan of MCT oil powder!  This stuff gives you all the benefits of the MCT oil but without any risk of digestive upset.  I normally add a scoop or two to my morning coffee.  It also increases blood ketones naturally without having to ingest exogenous ketone supplements. Check out the entire line-up of Perfect Keto brand products here:  Shop Perfect Keto.  Feel free to use the code: KETOSAVAGE at checkout to save yourself 20%!

Unfortunately, most of the salad dressings and sauces you are going to find in the stores are filled with polyunsaturated fats.  Most of which are coming from vegetable oil, soybean oil, or canola oil.  While these are still fats, they are not ideal for keto and can actually lead to increased inflammation.  All of the primal kitchen brand products taste amazing and are made with healthy avocado oil.  I'm literally addicted to this stuff!  Check out there "keto" pack HERE!

I didn't actually discover these bad boys until this year.  They are called Pili nuts and they are absolutely amazing!  More keto friendly than macadamia nuts and equally as tasty, maybe even tastier.  One serving has 1 gram of carbohydrates.  That is much better than any other nut on the market!  They are perfect for grab-n-go keto.  Check them out HERE and save yourself 10% with my code: KETOSAVAGE.
