STOP Making These Tricep Mistakes!
There are a few mistakes I see being made all the time when it comes to triceps! The cable rope tricep extension is one of my favorite exercises as it can really stimulate the muscle. There are a ton of tweaks you can make to maximize the stimulation of the tricep heads and prevent injury.
Two common problems I see people making:
1) Not anchoring your upper arm/elbows into your body
2) Rotating too far forward and creating more of a pressing movement than an extension.
The Fix: Get on the ground so that you're not able to incorporate as much momentum. Focus on keeping the upper arms and elbows stationary and locked against your body. Bring your forearms up just past parallel, no further. SQUEEZE the muscle!
