Lunges are a great exercise for lower body strength as well as balance and coordination!
Take a step forward and drop the back knee to the ground
Focus on stretching the muscle in the rear leg and push through the heel of the front leg, not the toes
The front shin should be straight up and down
Don't try and step in a single straight line
Keep feet far enough in their own plane of motion to ensure balance
