On this Savage Perspective Podcast episode, I sat down with Jack Landry to dig into his story: how a Division I walk-on and tech engineer traded the corporate ladder for a mission to help men become better in body, mind, and faith. Jack's story is real, raw, and full of practical lessons about discipline, identity, and surrender. Below, I break down the highlights, the truths that stuck with me, and how you can take action today.
Jack started like a lot of guys: good job, decent money, and everything "right" on paper. He worked as a software engineer for Fidelity and later Amazon Web Services. He walked on to a Division I football team, battled injuries, and learned what hard work really looks like. Yet despite the wins, he felt like a number, part of a system that didn't care about him. That realization pushed him to ask a powerful question: Am I authoring my life or being authored by others?
He began reading. A lot. In 2020 alone, he read a dozen books, and 24 the next year. He dove into thinkers like Ed Mylett, Eric Thomas, Napoleon Hill's "Think and Grow Rich", and Cameron Herold's "Vivid Vision". Those books helped him craft a clear vision for his life across spiritual, physical, mental, relational, and career dimensions.
One line Jack kept repeating was the power of non-negotiables. He frames personal promises as "word". Keep your word and you build self-trust; break it and you feed doubt. For Jack, a vivid vision plus daily non-negotiables created the runway for change. He used the same approach he applied to training and nutrition: remove excuses, set the standard, and show up consistently.
Faith is central to Jack's work. Raised in a Catholic house but not always practicing, he described a season of "seeking" where he intentionally built a relationship with God. That process included hard choices such as quitting drinking, walking away from a relationship that wasn't aligned spiritually, and confronting private vices. He told me the moment he surrendered and obeyed was life-changing. Obedience became a test of faith and a path to peace.
The Kingdom Man Program: Who Jack Serves
Jack now coaches men through a program he calls Kingdom Man. He targets guys in their 20s to 30s who feel stuck: good on paper but missing discipline, purpose, and spiritual direction. His framework blends:
Most of his clients need help removing private vices like pornography, drug use, or alcohol dependency. Jack emphasizes community, accountability, and step-by-step systems that replace shame with structure.
Three recurring themes appeared in our talk:
Jack's solution is simple: build foundational wins fast with sleep, nutrition, and consistent training. Then expand the discipline to career and spiritual life.
One of the most striking parts of Jack's journey was his season of stepping away from chasing money. God told him to stop outbound marketing and refine his message. For a guy used to financial certainty, that felt risky. But the result was clarity. He built a curriculum that matches his message, attracted inbound clients who wanted what he offered, and found deeper fulfillment.
Jack uses Instagram and YouTube to share his message. He pairs one-on-one coaching with a six-month curriculum designed to be practical and transformative. He's married, settling into a different rhythm, and learning more about humility and service every day. His wins now read less like bank statements and more like lives changed: a client sober from pills and drugs in week one, a guy adding lean muscle while staying clean, and men rediscovering purpose.

What stuck with me most from Jack's story is the blend of relentlessness and surrender. He outworked his limits, read and learned, and then, when called, let go of control and trusted the process. That balance is rare but powerful. If you're tired of surface-level wins and want real, sustainable growth in body, mind, and spirit, Jack's approach is worth studying.
